Now is the time for each of us to stand up and show up, and declare that as Africans, we are rushing into action NOW. Now is the time for Africans - North, South, East and West - to ride these momentous waves of change, blowing from every corner of our continent, calling on us to act urgently because "we are the ones we've been waiting for" The campaign is a wake-up call, recalibration and reactivation of the spirit of African influence. It's about recognizing that I too, in whatever capacity, have the power and that it all starts with me. A reminder that we don't need any external validation from other nations to believe we can do it. It all starts with believing that we CAN, because we are AfriCANs. We can all be the change we desire. We are part of a powerful collective of changemakers and game changers because the blood of Africa runs through our veins.
